In Spring 2021, we launched the LMT Spring Hike, a full month of daily guided hikes organized across all sections of the 470-km Lebanon Mountain Trail.
From May 15 to June 10, the 27 sections of the trail were hiked, from north to south by 93 hikers on 27 individual guided hikes and with the support of 18 local guides on the LMT.
I designed a flag to represent a symbol of the trail that would travel the full 470 km of the Lebanon Mountain Trail, being relayed every day from one group of hikers to the next.
The flag symbolizes the LMTA’s commitment to preserve and promote the Lebanon Mountain Trail, thanks to the participation of all hikers, and generous contributions of our community.
The aim of the Spring Hike was to raise awareness about the trail and the work that our hardworking team does around the clock to maintain and protect the trail.
