The Dannieh Cash for Work project

The LMT Dannieh Trails and Ecotourism Project aims at improving the sustainability of the trail and bringing economic benefits to the local communities.

 As part of the project, a total of 42 men and women were employed following the Cash for Work approach, mostly inhabitants of the Dannieh region. ‘Cash For Work’ aims at providing vulnerable Lebanese individuals, as well as Syrian refugees, with work opportunities on the Lebanon Mountain Trail. Jobs such as trail maintenance, waymarking, clearing the trail, or rerouting deviations are being offered by the LMTA

I was in charge of covering the communication aspect of this project, and developed a video storyline to cover the main activities and stakeholders involved. 

I was also in charge of filming, and coordinated the editing process with an outsourced provider. 

The Dannieh Cash for Work initiative was launched in October 2020, as part of the LMT Dannieh Trails & EcoTourism Project, under the Local Development Program for Urban Areas in North Lebanon (#UDP_NL).
