Awareness campaign for Skoun.

I worked with the Outreach department to create an awareness campaign under Skoun’s Safer Nightlife program. The program aimed to support and educate young adults, while contributing to the image of the party scene in Beirut and create a safe environment for people who use drugs. 

In Lebanon, recreational drug use is left out of the conversation. We decided to start promoting the Safer Nightlife program with an awareness campaign about alcohol use, introducing the subject of harm reduction in the party scene. 

For our Summer 2018 campaign, we focused on one key preventative factor, hydration, and launched our Stay Hydrated campaign. Our outreach team distributed free bottles of water in pubs, clubs and festivals across Lebanon.
The idea was to create an inclusive campaign that took into consideration people’s hesitations and fears to discuss substance use, and make them more comfortable opening out on the subject and seeking Skoun’s services. 

I designed the concept and logo for the program and the campaign, and adapted the design into coasters, and stickers we could distribute in bars and parties, as well as branded water dispensers in bars and a water tower at the nightclub Garten Beirut.
I was also in charge of producing videos and photos to promote the initiative on social media.

This campaign was nominated for the 2018 Wajouh Ajouz Award for Excellency in Online Activism.Â
